COOKIES POLICY
Last Updated: 17 August 2017

www.hatchlabel.com and certain third parties that provide content and other functionality on our Services, use cookies and other similar technologies on our online services.

1. WHAT IS A COOKIE?
A cookie is a small file containing a string of characters that is sent to your computer when you visit a website. When you visit the website again, the cookie allows that site to recognise your browser. Cookies may store user preferences and other information. If you are concerned about having cookies on your computer or device, you can set your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being set, allowing you to decide whether to accept it. You can also delete cookies from your computer or device. However, if you choose to block or delete cookies, certain features of the Site may not operate correctly. Other technologies are used for similar purposes as a cookie on other platforms where cookies are not available or applicable.

This Cookies Policy explains how we use Cookies.  By using our website you consent to receive the Cookies set out below.

2. HOW DO WE USE COOKIES?
We use two different categories of Cookies as follows:

2.1. "Strictly Necessary Cookies"

These Cookies are an essential part of our log in system and other interactive parts of our website.  They contain a "session ID" which is a unique number that identifies you to our site.  We use them to track users’ preferences, make sure that you stay logged into our website from page to page and can use our interactive features correctly to allow for an easier online shopping experience.  Without these cookies, certain Hatch Label services cannot be provided.

These Cookies are not shared with third parties other than our website developers as necessary for them to support and develop the site.

Unless you ask us to remember you from visit to visit (in which case we will use a Cookie to do so), these Cookies will automatically expire shortly after the end of your visit to our site.

2.1. "Performance Cookies"

We also use Cookies to track your visit, so that we can understand how many times our site is visited and how popular certain pages are (i.e. the performance of our site). This improves the functionality of our site and makes browsing a simpler and personal experience for you.

For this we use a third party service called Google Analytics operated by Google, Inc.  Google Analytics sets Cookies containing "tracking IDs" which are unique numbers that identify you to the Google Analytics servers (which may be based in multiple locations worldwide including the United States of America).

Google Analytics collects performance data such as which pages you visit, the number of pages you visit, and how long you spend on our site.  Google Analytics also collects technical information about your web browser, computer and internet connection (“Technical Information”). Google Analytics does not store your personal information except incidentally in circumstances where your Technical Information is classified as Personal Information (for example when your IP address can easily be used to reveal your identity – possible in some cases but not others).

Further information about Google Analytics' use of your data, including how to set your browser to refuse these Cookies, can be found here: http://www.google.com/analytics/learn/privacy.html

Certain Performance Cookies will be saved on your computer for up to two years following your last visit, in order to recognise your visits from time to time.

3. HOW DO I DISABLE COOKIES?
You can remove Cookies at any time by clearing these Cookies from your browser.  You can also set your browser to refuse to accept Cookies. Refer to your browser's "Help" function for further details.

Further, in order to provide website visitors with more choice on how data is collected by Google Analytics, Google has developed the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. The add-on communicates with the Google Analytics code on this site to stop data being sent to the Google Analytics servers. The Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on does not affect usage of this site in any other way.

The Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on is not provided by Hatch Label and its use is subject to Google, Inc.'s terms of use. A link to further information on the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on is provided below for your convenience:
